A WORD OF THANKS

I wish to thank everyone for the fine notes of encouragement you have sent to me regarding the blogs and the notes directed to me personally.

Having your suggestions and your support, your criticisms and your points of view make me think that I am so proud to be just one of you, just part of this great family of Black people, and humanitarians in general, who are at their finest once they are engaged in issues that affect us; when you feel things deeply enough to take the time to articulate your points of view, you are at your finest.

We do not have to agree always, but we need to keep the lines of communication open all times.

We have so much of which to be proud, and we have come a long way but we need to keep fighting on in these trenches of racism that are all too familiar to us all.

Keep the faith and burn the midnight oil if you must, but NEVER give up.

Respectfully yours,

F. Stanley Boyd
